Join us at Buford Springs for a guided dive on Sunday the 1st of October! We’ll be meeting at the site at 8 am.
Buford Springs is an great SCUBA diving and freediving site, and depending on conditions it’s one of the most beautiful SCUBA sites in Florida. Buford has been a popular cave diving site for many years and is located in Hernando County, inside the Chassahowitzka Wildlife Management Area.
This is an advanced dive and participants must be certified as Advanced Open Water or posses a Deep Specialty rating! Site is isolated and does not offer air fills or equipment rentals. Divers must bring their own equipment or arrange rentals with us in advance. We will meet at 8 am in the CWMA entry area. Participants pre-register online with FWC and must pay the entry fee of $3 per person, or $6 per vehicle on arrival.
Water temperature is typically around 72-75 degrees, and appropriate wetsuits should be worn.
