Join us at KP Hole Park on Sunday the 26th of November for a guided dive down the Rainbow River! We’ll be meeting at the site at 9 am in the KP Hole Park parking area.
Drift diving down Rainbow River is an experience not to be missed. It’s fun, relaxing and there’s plenty of bottom time to be had. The cool clear waters of the Rainbow River lend themselves to great visibility and there are plenty of bluegills, bass and even a few turtles and Alligator Garfish.
This dive is open to any certification level! The dive is a boat entry (after a short boat ride up river) with about an hour long drift dive back to KP Hole Park. Dive flags are required at the river. We will have some with our guides, but divers should have an SMDB with them in case of separation. The park facilities are clean, modern, and well maintained, with change rooms, showers, and a snack bar. Disposable items (eg. wrappers, disposable plastic water bottles) are not permitted in the park. Our Fee includes the park’s dive fee, boat fee and guide. Participants must pay their own park entry/parking fee on arrival.
Water temperature is typically around 72 degrees, and appropriate wetsuits should be worn. Gear is not provided, so make arrangements in advance with the Isla Divers shop or use your own gear.
